Hilton Head is no longer a “sleepy island”! The real estate market has seen record jumps and continues to increase. Supply and demand are always a real estate struggle but with limited island land mass, the supply remains in arears!
The rental market continues to grow at rapid pace for year over year rental rates. Hilton Head continues to see some of the lowest vacancy rates and time on the market before tenant placement!
Hilton Head already had a limited inventory supply compared to the demand and this year, it is expected to be pushed further out of balance and continue to lead as a sellers’ market. The large number of buyers in the market, including many Generations Z’s looking for the first time to purchase investment properties, the supply inventory will continue to dwindle.
